“Our Country Is Heading Toward Failure Because of Us,” Says Mahmood Khan Achakzai

Islamabad:Chairman of the Tehreek Tahaffuz Aain Pakistan, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, has said that the country is moving toward failure due to its own actions and collective shortcomings.

Talking to the media, Achakzai stated that his movement was not aimed at conquering anyone, hurling abuses, or throwing stones. “We have come out to protect the Constitution and to end oppression. Come and join us,” he said.

He emphasized that anyone in Pakistan who believes in constitutional supremacy and peace should stand with his movement. He announced that a call has been given for February 8 and that a formal movement has been launched. “We are heading to Lahore in this connection, and several MPAs are accompanying us,” he added.

Achakzai further said that relations with neighboring countries are deteriorating and claimed that the government itself knows it has already lost.

Speaking on the occasion, Allama Nasir Abbas said that they would stay in Punjab for three days and actively participate in political activities. He added that their struggle would continue in a peaceful manner while remaining within constitutional limits.
