Funds to Be Provided for Schools, Hospitals, Literary Academies, Press Clubs, and Sports to Promote Youth Development: Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch

*Quetta, Pakistan:* Following last year’s initiative, funds will again be allocated this year for schools, hospitals, literary academies, press clubs, and sports teams to promote positive activities and create better opportunities for youth. This was announced by **National Party Chairman and former Chief Minister of Balochistan, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch**, while addressing the inaugural ceremony of boys’ school sports activities during the third phase of the Kech Sports and Fitness Festival.
Dr. Baloch emphasized that vibrant nations are recognized by their active participation in sports, literature, and other positive social activities. He urged young people to prioritize education, remain committed to their studies until at least the age of 18, and later serve the nation through professional careers.
He also advised youth to avoid drugs and extremism completely, highlighting that they represent the future of the Baloch nation and carry the hopes of the entire community.
Calling on teachers, Dr. Baloch asked them to consider teaching as a national duty, fulfill their responsibilities with integrity, and provide proper guidance to students. He stressed the importance of **100% teacher attendance in schools** to improve educational standards.
Dr. Baloch stated that over the past three months, he has been visiting educational institutions in Turbat daily to identify challenges faced by schools and colleges, while also noting suggestions from teachers and education department officials. He assured that, provided government funds are made available, serious and practical measures will be taken to address these issues.
He reaffirmed that, like last year, funds will be provided to support schools, hospitals, literary academies, press clubs, and sports activities to encourage positive engagement and give youth better opportunities for advancement.
In conclusion, Dr. Baloch praised the district administration, particularly **Deputy Commissioner Kech Bashir Ahmed Bargech**, for their efforts in promoting literature and sports in the region.
