JUI-B Declares Provincial Government a Failure, Calls for True Representatives to Assume Power

**Quetta (Daily Qudrat):** The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-B) held a significant joint meeting of its Provincial Working Committee and parliamentary members under the leadership of Provincial Amir Maulana Abdul Wasi at the provincial secretariat in Shahbaz Town, Quetta. The meeting extensively reviewed the province’s political situation, governance failures, administrative shortcomings, and the serious issues faced by the public.

Delegations from various sectors presented their concerns, which were examined in detail. JUI-B leaders emphasized the need for practical and effective measures to address public grievances and reiterated their commitment to stand alongside the people at all levels.

The participants expressed deep concern over the provincial government’s poor performance and the overall crisis in Balochistan. They stated that repeated failures by the government have left the public frustrated, anxious, and distressed. The meeting stressed that instead of deflecting blame, the government must demonstrate tangible performance.

The JUI-B leadership pointed out that the current administration inherited relatively favorable conditions, unprecedented for previous governments, yet has failed in public service and governance, highlighting its incompetence. The party concluded that transferring power to genuine representatives of the people is the only democratic and rational solution under the present circumstances.

The meeting also reviewed organizational matters of JUI-B and approved measures to make its structure more active, organized, and effective. Participants discussed national and international political developments and formulated strategies in line with the guidance of party chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman. JUI-B reaffirmed its commitment to play a responsible, principled, and pro-people role in addressing challenges at both the provincial and national levels.
