Elderly Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident in Washuk; Another Injured in Firing Incident in Panjgur
Washuk/Panjgur: An elderly man lost his life in a motorcycle accident in the Basima area of Washuk, while a separate incident of firing by unidentified armed men left another person injured in Panjgur.
According to hospital sources, the fatal accident occurred in Basima Bazaar when a motorcycle collision claimed the life of an elderly man. The deceased was reported to be a resident of Killi Hussainabad in Tehsil Basima. His body was shifted to the hospital, while further investigation into the incident is underway.
In another incident, an individual was injured due to firing by unknown armed men in the Sarawan Khudabadan area of Panjgur. Police said the injured man, identified as Balach son of Afzal Kamran, grandson of Amit Bakhsh and a resident of Sarawan Khudabadan, was traveling on a motorcycle when two unidentified armed men on another motorcycle signaled him to stop.
When he did not comply, the assailants opened fire, injuring him. The suspects fled the scene without taking anything. Police believe the motive behind the attack appears to be an attempted robbery, and further investigation is ongoing.
