Arif Habib Issues Key Message to PIA Employees: Performance Will Determine Job Security

**Islamabad (Daily Qudrat):** Prominent businessman **Arif Habib** has emphasized that turning **Pakistan International Airlines (PIA)** into a profitable airline is the top priority, and employees have been given a clear message: **job security will depend on performance.**

Speaking to the media in Karachi, he assured that PIA employees would be supported, acknowledging that the airline’s past successes were largely due to its workforce. He stated that only those who demonstrate strong performance will continue to serve in PIA, while under current agreements, the airline’s name cannot be changed.

Arif Habib also highlighted that **14 million Pakistanis live abroad**, and together with their families in Pakistan, over **70 million people rely on PIA**. He emphasized PIA’s priority for **Hajj and Umrah operations** and expressed the aim that Pakistani travelers will increasingly prefer flying exclusively with PIA.
