PTI Chairman Goher Ali Khan Appeals for Family Meetings of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi

Rawalpindi: PTI Chairman Barrister Goher Ali Khan has expressed frustration over the repeated denial of permission to meet, stating that he visits every Tuesday but is not allowed access. Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, he said, “I come here every Tuesday, yet, regrettably, permission for meetings is not granted. I plead for these meetings so that circumstances can change; 2025 has passed, and it is time for conditions to improve.”
Barrister Goher emphasized that in seeking these meetings, “not only others but also our own people are involved.” He stressed that while the political movement should continue with full intensity, there is no substitute for negotiations. “The situation demands dialogue, but it is not happening as required,” he said.
Appealing to those in power, Goher requested that they allow meetings between Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi, and their families. He urged the authorities to act with compassion, keeping in mind the sensitive nature of the situation and to show mercy towards the nation’s children.
