Lawyer Issues Threats Against Nadeem Naniwala After Assault on YouTuber Rajab Butt, Video Goes Viral

Karachi:Following the violent assault on prominent YouTuber Rajab Butt, a lawyer has allegedly issued threats against another YouTuber, Nadeem Naniwala, in a video statement that is now circulating widely on social media.

In the viral video, the lawyer is heard saying that certain individuals are not stopping their actions and that after Rajab Butt, it seems Nadeem Naniwala also wants to come into the media spotlight. He added in a threatening tone that if it is a matter of “software update,” they could “update” him as well.

The lawyer further stated that it is up to those individuals to decide how they want to take revenge—whether through legal channels or by making vlogs involving their mother or sister. He claimed that the opposing party is free to take any action they wish, adding that he and his associates are prepared to face any kind of legal or other proceedings.

It is worth recalling that a day earlier, during a court appearance in Karachi, a large number of lawyers allegedly assaulted YouTuber Rajab Butt, causing him severe injuries. Following the incident, one of the lawyers involved released a video message boasting about the attack. In the video, he claimed that Rajab Butt thought himself to be powerful and brave but had now “learned his lesson.”

He further remarked that Rajab Butt believed he was in Punjab, not realizing that Sindh is “the land of honourable and brave people.” Naming fellow lawyer Bilal Khokhar, he praised his colleagues and claimed that they had taken revenge on Rajab Butt.

The incident and subsequent threats have sparked widespread concern and condemnation on social media, with calls for strict legal and disciplinary action against those involved.
