Section 144 Extended in Rawalpindi Until December 31, 2025

Islamabad – The enforcement of Section 144 has been extended in Rawalpindi until December 31, 2025, Deputy Commissioner Hassan Waqar Cheema announced through an official notification.
According to details, the District Intelligence Committee recommended the extension, which was approved by the Deputy Commissioner. The notification states that all public gatherings, rallies, and assemblies will remain completely banned under this order.
Sources indicated that authorities will review the law-and-order situation on December 31, 2025, to decide whether to further extend Section 144 or lift it.
