Violence Persists in Harnai Despite FC Presence; Hundreds of Vehicles Blocked, Locals Attacked: PKMAP

Harnai – The Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP) strongly condemned an incident on the Harnai-Sanjawi Road near Tor Khan, where terrorists stopped hundreds of vehicles and opened fire on civilians, resulting in the death of one person and injuries to another.

According to a district statement by PKMAP, such cowardly acts have been occurring in Harnai since the first month of the Frontier Corps (FC) deployment. Despite the presence of over 40 FC checkposts between Chaprilt and Tor Khan, equipped with night vision cameras and modern weaponry, terrorists continue to spread fear and insecurity in the region.

The statement alleged that these attacks aim to destabilize the area, forcibly displace locals, and seize natural resources. As part of this plan, a so-called BLA has been formed, and fake representatives have been imposed through Form 47. PKMAP further claimed that robberies and abductions in homes have now become frequent, actions that could not occur without government collusion.

The party demanded the immediate arrest and punishment of those responsible for the Tor Khan incident and called for effective measures to prevent such incidents in the future.

This ongoing violence highlights concerns over security enforcement and the continued threat posed by armed groups in Harnai despite official deployments.
