Video Shows Overseas Pakistani Confronting PPP Leader Saeed Ghani at Karachi Shopping Mall

Karachi – A video circulating on social media shows an overseas Pakistani confronting Sindh’s Provincial Minister for Information and Labour, Saeed Ghani, while he was shopping with his family at a mall in Karachi.

In the viral footage, the overseas Pakistani can be heard criticizing Saeed Ghani and blaming him and his party for what he described as the destruction of Karachi. The individual says he was forced to leave the city due to its deteriorating conditions, adding that Saeed Ghani and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) should feel ashamed, accusing them of corruption.

The video has sparked mixed reactions on social media. Many users supported the overseas Pakistani, saying his criticism reflected public frustration over Karachi’s issues. Others, however, argued that confronting a politician in front of his family amounted to harassment and should not be encouraged.

Some users pointed out that while there are widespread grievances against the PPP regarding Karachi’s governance, such confrontations should be carried out with civility. Others praised Saeed Ghani’s composure during the incident, noting that he responded calmly despite the tense situation and refrained from using abusive language, especially in the presence of children.

The incident has reignited debate over public accountability of politicians versus maintaining basic social decorum in public spaces.
