PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Rejects Claims of Talks With Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar has categorically rejected recent claims regarding negotiations or meetings with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, stating that he has had no contact with the prime minister in the past 10 days or even throughout the entire year.
Responding to a statement by Prime Minister’s Coordinator Ikhtiar Wali, Barrister Gohar said that if any contact had actually taken place or if any effort for negotiations had been made, he would have informed the public himself. He emphasized that dialogue is a sensitive matter and irresponsible discussion on such issues can further worsen the situation.
It is pertinent to note that a day earlier, Ikhtiar Wali Khan claimed during a private television program that Barrister Gohar had contacted the prime minister three times in the past 10 days to initiate talks. However, the PTI chairman dismissed this claim as baseless and contrary to facts.
