Protecting Minority Rights a Core Pillar of Pakistan’s Ideology: Field Marshal Asim Munir

Rawalpindi: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has emphasized that safeguarding the rights of minorities is a fundamental pillar of Pakistan’s ideology.
According to ISPR, the army chief visited Christ Church in Rawalpindi to participate in Christmas celebrations, where he extended warm greetings to the Christian community and conveyed his best wishes for peace, harmony, and prosperity.
Paying tribute to the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, on his birth anniversary, Field Marshal Munir stated that equality, religious freedom, and constitutional values form the foundation of Pakistan, in line with the vision of the Quaid.
Field Marshal Munir also praised the contributions of the Christian community to national development and security, noting their generations-long service in the armed forces as a shining example of patriotism and national cohesion.
He affirmed that the armed forces remain committed to safeguarding equal rights for all citizens. On the occasion, Christian leaders thanked Field Marshal Asim Munir for his visit and lauded the role of the armed forces in promoting national unity and social harmony.
