Fiza Ali Accuses Nida Yasir of Reviving Divorce Video After Criticism
Lahore: Pakistani actress and morning show host Fiza Ali has once again come under the spotlight after alleging that a video related to her past divorce was deliberately made viral following her recent criticism of fellow TV host Nida Yasir.
Host of the show “Morning with Fiza”, Fiza Ali has been trending on social media in recent days due to a series of controversies. Earlier, she drew attention for criticizing what she termed as irresponsible remarks by Nida Yasir and Saba Faisal, and for exposing YouTuber Kashif Zameer over allegedly wearing fake gold.
In her latest remarks, Fiza Ali indirectly accused Nida Yasir of targeting her personal life, claiming that after she spoke out, old videos related to her divorce were intentionally circulated again on social media.
Fiza said she had raised a logical and truthful voice in support of delivery riders, but in response, her personal life was dragged into controversy. According to her, a long-forgotten clip was deliberately resurfaced to malign her.
She expressed disappointment that despite Pakistan facing numerous serious issues, public attention was diverted towards her divorce, particularly focusing on why her former husband allegedly fainted at the time of divorce.
Fiza Ali said divorce is already a painful experience, but in Pakistani society, women are especially targeted afterward. She added that she had rebuilt her life after the separation, but old wounds were reopened, forcing her to defend herself publicly.
Concluding her statement, Fiza Ali stressed that no one has the right to turn another person’s pain into content for publicity or entertainment.
