Pakistan Moving Forward with Dignity; No One Will Be Allowed to Create a Rift Between Armed Forces and the People: Corps Commanders Conference

**Islamabad (Qudrat Daily):** The Corps Commanders Conference, chaired by Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, declared that Pakistan is moving forward with dignity and honor, and no one will be allowed to create divisions between the armed forces and the people.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Fateha was offered during the 273rd Corps Commanders Conference for the martyrs from the armed forces, law enforcement agencies, and innocent civilians who lost their lives in recent terrorist incidents. The forum paid rich tribute to those who sacrificed their lives in the fight against terrorism and in defense of the motherland against foreign-sponsored terror activities.

The Army Chief and Chief of Defence Forces lauded the unwavering courage, professionalism, and sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces. He also appreciated the determined efforts of the armed forces in conducting intelligence-based counterterrorism operations across the country in recent months.

Field Marshal Asim Munir said that due to the combined efforts of the government and the Pakistan Army, along with the steadfast support of the people, the country is gradually but surely moving towards stability, broader opportunities, and dignity.

**Comprehensive Review of Internal and External Security**

The forum conducted a comprehensive review of the internal and external security situation, emphasizing threats faced by the country and operational preparedness. Participants reaffirmed that all terrorists, their facilitators, and abettors operating under Indian patronage would be dealt with decisively and without any leniency. The forum categorically rejected any nexus between terrorism, crime, and political interests.

The corps commanders emphasized that no one, regardless of political affiliation or any other identity, would be allowed to undermine national unity, security, and stability. They reiterated that attempts to create divisions between the armed forces and the people of Pakistan would not be tolerated.

The forum also appreciated the special development initiatives of the Balochistan government aimed at empowering local communities and eliminating terrorism-related factors through improved governance and social engagement. Participants stressed the need for similar public-centric initiatives in other areas in line with the National Action Plan to ensure lasting peace and stability.

**Reaffirmation of Support for Kashmir and Palestine**

The conference reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast support for the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination and their legitimate struggle. The forum also endorsed Pakistan’s principled stance on the Palestine issue, calling for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza, unhindered humanitarian access, and a credible pathway toward the establishment of a Palestinian state.

At the conclusion of the conference, the Army Chief directed commanders to maintain the highest standards of operational readiness, discipline, training, physical fitness, innovation, and professional excellence on the battlefield. He expressed full confidence in the Pakistan Army’s ability to effectively counter conventional, sub-conventional, hybrid, and asymmetric threats while ensuring the defense of national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
