Islamabad to Observe Four Consecutive Public Holidays

Islamabad:The district administration has announced an additional public holiday on December 26 in Islamabad, following Christmas Day on December 25, giving residents four consecutive days off.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Sahibzada Muhammad Yousaf issued the official notification regarding the holiday.
The District Administration Islamabad has declared Friday, 26th December 2025 as a local holiday within the revenue limits of the Islamabad

According to the notification, December 26 will be a public holiday due to the arrival of a high-level foreign delegation. The holiday will not apply to ICT administration, CDA, police, or government hospitals. Copies of the notification have been sent to all relevant departments.
It is worth noting that December 25, Christmas Day, will be observed as a public holiday across Islamabad and the rest of the country.
