President Asif Ali Zardari Visits Shrines of Imam Hussain (RA) and Hazrat Abbas (RA) in Karbala

Islamabad:President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari visited the holy city of Karbala, where he paid respects at the shrines of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and Hazrat Abbas ibn Ali (RA).

During the visit, President Zardari offered Fateha, performed Nawafil, and prayed for peace, unity, and security of the Muslim Ummah. He described the sacrifice of Imam Hussain (RA) as an eternal symbol of truth, justice, and steadfastness, emphasizing that the teachings of Imam Hussain (RA) continue to guide humanity toward righteousness, justice, and human dignity.

According to reports, the President also met with the administrators and religious scholars of both shrines. The Governor of Karbala, Dr. Naseef Jasim Al-Khattabi, accompanied President Zardari during the visit.

The visit reflects Pakistan’s respect for Islamic heritage and the universal message of peace and sacrifice embodied by the martyrs of Karbala.
