Maryam Nawaz’s Son Junaid Safdar to Marry Again in January; Bride Identified

Lahore: Preparations for the second marriage of Junaid Safdar, son of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, are in full swing, with the wedding scheduled to take place next month in January.

Former National Assembly member Sheikh Roheel Asghar has confirmed in a recent interview that Junaid Safdar’s marriage has been finalized with his granddaughter, Shanze. Sharing details of the proposal, Roheel Asghar said that Shanze is a close friend of Maryam Nawaz’s younger daughter, Mahnoor, and the two frequently visit each other’s homes.

He explained that the families became acquainted through this friendship, after which the proposal was initiated. “One day, Maryam and her family sent a message expressing their wish to visit us. They came over, then we visited them, and the proposal was finalized,” he said.

According to Roheel Asghar, the engagement process took place around two to three months ago, and the wedding dates have now been set. He revealed that the wedding ceremonies will be held on January 16, 17, and 18, and will be celebrated with grandeur, though only close relatives and friends will be invited.

It is worth recalling that Junaid Safdar had confirmed his divorce from his first wife in October 2023 through a post on his Instagram account.
