Islamabad Sessions Court Extends Pre-Arrest Bail for Imran Khan, Bars Arrest in May 9 and Other Cases

The Islamabad Sessions Court has granted major relief to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan by restraining his arrest in five cases, including those related to the May 9 incidents.

The court extended the pre-arrest bail of Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in these cases until January 27. During the hearing, the court made it clear that at the next hearing, the PTI founder must appear either in person or through a video link.

The court stated that the cases will be taken forward on the next date with proper arguments. According to the court order, Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi will not be arrested in any of the five pending cases, including the May 9 case, until the next hearing date.

The court also directed all parties to appear with full preparation to ensure progress in the proceedings.
