Saudi Arabia Confers King Abdulaziz Medal on Field Marshal Asim Munir

Islamabad: Saudi Arabia has awarded its highest honor, the King Abdulaziz Medal, to Pakistan’s Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Asim Munir, in recognition of his outstanding military services, leadership, and contributions to defense cooperation and strategic coordination.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the prestigious award was conferred in appreciation of Field Marshal Asim Munir’s key role in strengthening institutional ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The honor also reflects his services toward regional peace and stability, as well as cooperation in counterterrorism and security sectors.
ISPR stated that the Saudi leadership highly appreciated Field Marshal Asim Munir’s professional capabilities and strategic vision, and commended his commitment to further strengthening the longstanding fraternal relations between the two countries.
Expressing gratitude on receiving the award, Field Marshal Asim Munir thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Saudi leadership, describing the honor as a symbol of the strong and enduring ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to the security, stability, and prosperity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. ISPR added that the award clearly reflects the deep-rooted bilateral relations and the shared resolve of both nations.
