11 Killed, 9 Injured in Horrific Collision Between Oil Tanker and Zambad Vehicle Near Rekodak, Nokundi

Chagai (Daily Qudrat Quetta): A tragic traffic accident near Rekodak in the border town of Nokundi, Balochistan, claimed the lives of 11 people and left 9 others seriously injured. The crash occurred late last night when an oil tanker collided head-on with an Iranian Zambad vehicle, leaving the entire area in mourning.
According to sources at Nokundi Hospital, all 11 people in the Zambad vehicle died on the spot, while the 9 injured were immediately rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment. Chagai SP Muhammad Sharif confirmed that the driver of the vehicle, Khuda Nazar son of Abdullah from the border city of Taftan, also died at the scene. His body was sent to Taftan following necessary legal procedures.
SP Sharif further stated that the other victims and injured were Afghan nationals. After initial medical treatment and completion of legal formalities, the injured were deported to Afghanistan along with the bodies of the deceased.
Authorities, including the police, reached the site to collect evidence, and an investigation is ongoing to determine the exact cause of the accident. The incident has left the local community in grief and shock.
