More Than 3,500 Pakistanis Deported From Various Countries; Saudi Arabia and UAE Top the List

Karachi: More than 3,500 Pakistani nationals have been deported from different countries over the past year, with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates accounting for the highest number of deportations.

According to sources, during the first 11 months of 2025, the number of Pakistanis deported from abroad increased by over 3,500 compared to the same period last year. Data shows that 20,262 Pakistanis were deported to Karachi during the 11 months of 2025, whereas 16,461 individuals were deported during the corresponding period last year.

Sources revealed that the majority of deportees were sent back from Saudi Arabia and the UAE. A significant number of Pakistanis who traveled to Gulf countries on Umrah or visit visas were reportedly deported due to involvement in begging.

Additionally, individuals using fake documents or traveling on visit visas to different countries with the intention of illegally moving onward to Europe or other destinations were also deported back to Karachi.

Authorities continue to monitor such cases, while officials have urged citizens to follow legal immigration procedures to avoid deportation and related consequences.
