Nawaz Sharif Congratulates PML-N Candidates on By-Election Victory

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has congratulated the party’s candidates and workers on their victory in the recent by-elections.

In a message posted on X, Nawaz Sharif said that the dedicated efforts and selfless service of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz are steering the country back onto the right path.

He added that the people of Pakistan have rejected politics of violence, chaos, and destruction, choosing instead the path of progress, prosperity, and stability.

It is noteworthy that the PML-N secured a clean sweep in the by-elections for six National Assembly seats. The party also won six out of seven provincial assembly seats, while one seat was claimed by the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

In the general elections held on February 8 last year, PML-N had failed to win these constituencies, where PTI-backed independent candidates emerged victorious with a significant lead in votes.
