Did a Romantic Song From Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s Film ‘King’ Get Leaked? Here’s the Truth

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film King, slated for release in 2026, is among the most highly anticipated movies, and the lack of official updates has fueled widespread speculation on social media.
Recently, a video clip went viral showing Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in a romantic rain sequence, appearing close to each other while humming love-filled lyrics. This led to claims that a romantic song from the film had been leaked.
However, the reality is quite different. According to Indian media reports, the viral clip is not an actual part of the film King but has been created using artificial intelligence (AI). Fans also clarified on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) that the video is edited and entirely fake, not a genuine leak.

The 38-second clip shows Shah Rukh Khan with grey hair and an intense expression running toward Deepika Padukone, with romantic Hindi lyrics playing in the background. The duo is seen standing under an umbrella, moving closer, embracing, and even sharing a kiss—giving the impression of a classic Bollywood love song. Due to the realistic visuals, many viewers were initially misled before fans quickly debunked the claims.
So far, the only official confirmation regarding King is its title, with no announcements about the cast, music, or release date. Fans are hopeful that more surprises, including a release timeline, will be revealed in the coming months.
The film is also being seen as Deepika Padukone’s major return to the big screen, especially at a time when industry discussions continue around her reported exit from projects like Spirit and Kalki 2, as well as debates over work-hour demands. As a result, any news related to King continues to draw significant attention from fans.
