Ali Amin Gandapur Absent from PTI Activities, Pigeon Racing Video Goes Viral

Dera Ismail Khan: Ali Amin Gandapur, a close associate of PTI founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan, has remained absent from party meetings and rallies since being removed from the position of Chief Minister. He has also limited his contact with party leadership.

Gandapur is currently in his hometown, Dera Ismail Khan, where a video of him participating in pigeon racing went viral on social media. Netizens reacted with a mix of amusement and surprise, with some commenting on the unusual sight of a prominent politician engaging in the pastime.

According to reports, he is also fond of horse riding and hunting and has been spending his time on domestic matters, staying away from the hustle and bustle of party politics. Sources claim that Gandapur is angry over his removal and has deliberately avoided attending party events. His last public engagement was during the Senate elections, but he did not participate in local peace jirgas either.

Gandapur stated that Imran Khan removed him abruptly and without reason from the Chief Minister’s office, causing him personal and political embarrassment. The announcement of his removal was reportedly made through a minor legal intermediary outside Adiala Jail, rather than directly by party leadership, which further fueled his resentment.
