Three Arab Families Among World’s Five Richest, Walton Family Tops List
**Islamabad:** The combined wealth of the world’s 25 richest families surged by $358.7 billion over the past year, bringing their total fortune to $2.9 trillion, according to Bloomberg’s *World’s Richest Families 2025* report.
The list highlights three influential Arab families: the Al Nahyan family of the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia’s Al Saud royal family, and Qatar’s Al Thani family.
Abu Dhabi’s ruling Al Nahyan family was ranked the **second richest family globally**, with an estimated fortune of $335.9 billion. The Saudi royal family, Al Saud, secured the **third position** with $213.6 billion, while Qatar’s Al Thani family came **fourth**, holding an estimated $199.5 billion.
The **Walton family of the United States**, owners of the Walmart retail chain, topped the list as the richest family in the world, with a total wealth of $513.4 billion.
