Karachi Stadium to Be Better Than Lahore’s After PSL 11, Says PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi

Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has announced that Karachi’s National Stadium will be rebuilt after the conclusion of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 and will be developed to a higher standard than Lahore’s stadium.

Speaking during the PSL Road Show, Mohsin Naqvi said that the currently half-constructed structure at the National Stadium will be completely demolished after PSL 11, followed by the construction of a brand-new stadium.
He further revealed that construction work on the Muzaffarabad Stadium has already begun and is targeted for completion before PSL 11.

The PCB chairman also announced plans to establish a new state-of-the-art cricket academy equipped with modern facilities. The academy is expected to be completed within three to four months.
It is noteworthy that with the 11th edition of the PSL, the league will expand from six to eight teams for the first time, following the addition of two new franchises. This will mark the first major structural change in the league after seven years.
