Pakistan Army Fully Prepared to Counter All Challenges and Extremist Ideologies: Chief of Defence Forces

Gujranwala: Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, has stated that the Pakistan Army is fully prepared and proactive in dealing with all internal and external challenges, including extremist ideologies and hybrid threats aimed at undermining national stability.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Field Marshal visited the Gujranwala and Sialkot garrisons, where he was given a detailed briefing on the formations’ operational readiness and ongoing measures to further strengthen combat capabilities.
During the visit, Field Marshal Asim Munir observed field training exercises and modern simulator-based training facilities. He praised the formations for their high professional standards and overall preparedness.
Emphasizing the importance of technological integration in modern warfare, the Chief of Defence Forces said that speed, precision, timely situational awareness, and rapid decision-making are critical in today’s battlefield environment.

He also interacted with officers and soldiers, commending their high morale and unwavering commitment to national security. He stressed that rigorous, structured, and mission-oriented training is essential to maintaining and enhancing the armed forces’ professional capabilities.
Field Marshal Asim Munir reiterated that the Pakistan Army remains fully ready to counter all internal and external challenges, including enemy-led hybrid campaigns, extremist ideologies, and divisive elements seeking to destabilize the country.
Earlier, upon his arrival in Gujranwala, the Chief of Defence Forces was received by the Corps Commander Gujranwala. The visit was described as a practical demonstration of the armed forces’ preparedness, professionalism, and continued efforts to safeguard national defense.
