ATC Orders Forfeiture of Aleema Khan’s Bail Bonds in November 26 Protest Case

Rawalpindi: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Rawalpindi has ordered the forfeiture of bail bonds submitted by Aleema Khan, sister of the PTI founder, in the November 26 protest case.

According to *Jang*, the court was hearing the case involving Aleema Khan and 11 other accused. Neither Aleema Khan nor her lawyers appeared before the court during the proceedings.

The court issued bailable arrest warrants and notices for the cancellation of her bail, along with a contempt of court notice. The prosecution argued that Aleema Khan had given an undertaking to appear at every hearing but failed to do so, and therefore her bail bonds should be confiscated.

Following the prosecution’s request, the court ordered the forfeiture of two bail bonds worth Rs1 million each.

The ATC adjourned the hearing until December 15.

Meanwhile, Aleema Khan later arrived at the Rawalpindi ATC along with her lawyer, Faisal Malik.
