Grenade Attack on Highway Police Office in Dera Murad Jamali Injures One; Man Shot Dead in Usta Muhammad
Dera Murad Jamali / Usta Muhammad: A **hand grenade attack** targeted the **National Highway Police office** near the main bazaar in Dera Murad Jamali, injuring one person and damaging the building’s main gate, police officials confirmed.
According to authorities, **unknown armed assailants** hurled a grenade at the police office, which exploded with a loud blast. The explosion injured **Muhammad Ramzan**, a worker at a nearby service station. He was immediately shifted to **Teaching Hospital Dera Murad Jamali** for medical treatment.
Police and security forces reached the site soon after the incident, cordoned off the area, and launched a **search operation** to trace the attackers.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident in **Usta Muhammad**, **armed assailants opened fire** near the **High School Bridge**, killing **Zafarullah, son of Muhammad Gul**, belonging to the **Magasi tribe**.
Police shifted the body to a local hospital and have registered a case against unidentified suspects. **Preliminary investigation suggests** that the shooting was the result of an **old enmity**. A **manhunt** has been launched to arrest the culprits.
