Chief Justice Emphasizes Strengthening Rule of Law and Protection of Human Rights

**Islamabad (Qudrat Daily):** Chief Justice of Pakistan, Yahya Afridi, has stated that the judiciary is fully committed to strengthening the rule of law while ensuring the protection of every individual’s dignity, freedom, and equality, despite the social, economic, and technological challenges of the current era.
In a message released on the Supreme Court’s website on the occasion of World Human Rights Day, he emphasized that justice must be accessible and timely for every citizen. He highlighted that judicial reforms aim to modernize the judicial system, increase transparency, and reduce barriers that prevent particularly vulnerable and marginalized communities from claiming their rights.
The Chief Justice added that the judicial system is being developed through the use of technology, enhanced training of judges, and improved institutional coordination to ensure a system that delivers justice impartially and fearlessly.
He further stressed that protecting human rights is not solely the responsibility of the courts but a shared obligation of the entire nation, forming a crucial part of Pakistan’s constitutional vision and national values.
