PTI Terms Reports of Imran Khan’s Possible Jail Transfer as Proof of Government’s Fear and Panic

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has strongly condemned reports that federal ministers are considering transferring Imran Khan to another jail, calling the move a clear reflection of the government’s fear, confusion, and political failure.

In a statement issued by the party’s Central Media Department, PTI said that despite three and a half years of “imposed rule” and two and a half years of Imran Khan’s “unlawful imprisonment,” the government still trembles at the mere mention of his name.

The party warned the government that wherever Imran Khan is shifted, his sisters, PTI leadership, workers, and the people of Pakistan will stand firmly with him with the same passion and determination.

“Neither can Imran Khan be separated from the people, nor can the people be distanced from him,” the statement read. It further added that any attempt to move him to another prison is nothing but an admission of the government’s own defeat.

PTI reiterated that Imran Khan cannot be “minus-ed,” pushed out of the political arena, or silenced, even from behind prison walls.
