Rain Forecasted Across Pakistan from December 18 to 20

Islamabad (Daily Qudrat): Most parts of Pakistan are currently experiencing **dry winter conditions**, leading to a rise in seasonal illnesses due to lack of rainfall. In November, rainfall was recorded **72% below the normal levels**.

Speaking to a private TV channel, meteorological analyst **Jawad Memon** stated that most models currently predict that a **western weather system may enter Pakistan between December 18 and 20, 2025**, bringing significant rainfall to the country. He emphasized that this is a **long-term forecast** and changes may occur as the dates approach, with continuous monitoring being conducted to keep the public informed.

Meanwhile, the **Pakistan Meteorological Department** has issued a **pre-alert advisory** regarding the drought situation in Balochistan. According to the advisory, rainfall deficits in the western and southwestern regions of the province have intensified, and the drought situation is expected to worsen.

The report indicates that from **May to November this year**, these areas experienced a continued decline in rainfall, resulting in an increase in consecutive dry days. Temperatures are expected to remain **above normal**, while rainfall is likely to remain **below average** until **February 2026**.
