Grand Operation Against Encroachments in Quetta: Stalls and Pushcarts Seized from Liaquat Bazaar, Masjid Road, and Prince Road

**Quetta:** In a decisive move to address growing traffic congestion and public inconvenience, the Traffic Police carried out a grand anti-encroachment operation in Liaquat Bazaar, Masjid Road, and Prince Road.
The operation, conducted on December 8, 2025, under the directives of SSP Traffic Quetta, targeted illegal stalls, pushcarts, and structures obstructing the flow of traffic. During the crackdown, several temporary setups—including roadside stalls, carts, and other encroachments blocking pathways—were taken into custody.
According to Traffic Police officials, persistent encroachments in these busy commercial areas had become a major cause of daily traffic jams, prompting frequent complaints from residents and shopkeepers.
SSP Traffic stated that no hindrance to smooth traffic flow will be tolerated, adding that such operations will continue across the city to ensure uninterrupted movement for citizens.
