KP CM Suhail Afridi Urges Federal-Provincial Coordination for Sustainable Policies

**Peshawar:** Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Suhail Afridi has emphasized that federal policies will be more sustainable if formulated in coordination with provincial governments.
Speaking to the media in Peshawar, Afridi highlighted the provincial government’s efforts to equip the police with modern weapons and strengthen law enforcement to combat terrorism.
He said, *“We have been striving to eliminate terrorism, and since 2022, we have witnessed insecurity in the province. The police have been playing their role alongside the army, and I commend the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) police for their efforts.”*
Afridi also praised the sacrifices of the police, army, Frontier Corps, and other security agencies, stating that their dedication ensured peace in the province between 2018 and 2022.
He reiterated that policies developed jointly by the federal and provincial governments are more effective and sustainable, adding, *“This is what we are trying to convey and emphasize for the betterment of the province and the country.”*
