PTI Defeated on May 9, India on May 10, Says Information Minister Attaullah Tarar

**Lahore (Qudrat Daily)** – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has said that the government defeated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on May 9 and India on May 10, adding that PTI aims to weaken Pakistan’s defence.
Addressing an event in Lahore, the minister criticized the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, saying it has turned the province into “ruins.” He claimed that PTI’s rally at Peshawar’s Sunday Bazaar was a complete failure.
Tarar stated that PTI has been ruling Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for 12 years but has failed to launch even a single major development project. He further said that the federal government is fulfilling all promises made during the election campaign, while the PTI founder allegedly wanted Pakistan to default and sought to undermine the country.
He added that the presence of the Chief of Defence Forces instills fear in the enemy, crediting Field Marshal Asim Munir for playing a key role in the improvement of Pakistan’s economy.
Tarar reiterated corruption allegations against the PTI founder, stating he is in jail due to the “£190 million robbery.” He accused PTI of attacking martyrs’ monuments and doing what “the enemy wanted.”
He also criticized the PTI founder’s sisters, alleging that they speak against Pakistan’s military on Indian media, saying they “should feel ashamed.”
