WhatsApp Introduces Two New Features for Users

**Islamabad (Qudrat Daily)** – WhatsApp has rolled out two new features in its beta version aimed at enhancing user experience, currently being tested on Android devices. These features are expected to be available to general users soon.
One feature focuses on **Status updates**, introducing AI-powered editing tools. Replacing the existing Effects, Label, or Filters button, these tools will allow users to modify images, add new objects, remove backgrounds, and even animate their pictures.
The second feature targets **Group chats**, making it easier for new members to access group history. New participants will now be able to view up to **1,000 messages** sent in the 24 hours prior to joining, eliminating the need for group admins to manually share old conversations. This option will be available in the group permissions screen.
These updates reflect WhatsApp’s ongoing efforts to improve user engagement and convenience.
