**Information Minister Ataullah Tarar Calls Imran Khan “Mentally Unstable,” Rejects ‘Khan-Only’ Mindset

**Lahore (Qudrat Daily)** – Federal Information Minister Ataullah Tarar launched a strong attack on PTI founder Imran Khan, calling him “a mentally unstable person” and condemning what he described as the PTI narrative of *“Khan nahi to kuch nahi”* (If not Khan, then nothing).
“We reject and curse such a mindset,” he said. “For us, it is Pakistan first, not any individual.”

Speaking to PML-N workers in Lahore, Tarar criticized the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, claiming that PTI had been in power there for twelve and a half years yet failed to deliver a single major development project.
“The province has been turned into ruins. They couldn’t even build one proper hospital,” he said, contrasting this with PML-N’s achievements such as establishing the Punjab Forensic Lab.

Tarar said that the public had rejected PTI’s recent rally in Peshawar, adding that Imran Khan—currently jailed—was involved in the “mega 190 million pound corruption scandal” and had destroyed the country’s economy.
“He even consumed funds meant for hospitals and welfare projects,” the minister alleged.

The information minister praised Pakistan’s armed forces for their historic military successes against India, saying that the Indian army fears Pakistan.
“Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has struck terror into the enemy,” he added.

Tarar accused PTI of being soft on India during its tenure and failing to defend Kashmir.
“They never had the courage to respond to India. Their leaders even go on Indian media and accuse our army,” he said, adding that such statements are frequently highlighted by Indian and Afghan media.

He further claimed that PTI women leaders were present during the May 9 attack on the Corps Commander House, saying that the party tried to weaken the military in ways “even the enemy could not.”
Tarar also accused PTI’s social media accounts of spreading anti-state propaganda and running campaigns against state institutions.

He concluded by saying that PTI had repeatedly tried to blame the army for its own failures. “They should feel ashamed,” he added.
