PM Shehbaz Sharif Says Nawaz Sharif’s Development-Focused Politics Overshadowed Rhetoric and Political Tricks
GUJRANWALA: Prime Minister **Shehbaz Sharif** has stated that **Nawaz Sharif’s development-oriented politics have buried slogan-mongering and political gimmicks**, highlighting the transformative impact of constructive governance.
Addressing the groundbreaking ceremony of the **Gujranwala Mass Transit Project**, the Prime Minister said that under Nawaz Sharif’s leadership, Punjab witnessed the **beginning of development-driven politics** for the first time.
He further remarked that **Pakistan’s status as a nuclear power** played a crucial role in ensuring national security, stating that without it, the situation in potential conflicts this year could have been very different.
Shehbaz Sharif also praised **Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz** for successfully continuing Nawaz Sharif’s legacy, noting that these achievements are visible and undeniable, even to political opponents.
He added that if the **PML-N government returns to power**, it would transform the country’s landscape, with the party’s developmental vision and slogans spreading throughout Pakistan.
