PPP Leader Mir Ali Hassan Zehri Denounces Baseless Propaganda About Gadani Visit, Clarifies Security Measures

*Hub (Daily Qudrat)* — Senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and spokesperson for President Asif Ali Zardari, Mir Ali Hassan Zehri, who also serves as Balochistan’s Minister for Agriculture and Cooperatives, has strongly rejected false claims circulating on social media regarding his recent visit to Gadani.

In a statement, Zehri emphasized that the warm reception by the local people reflected their awareness and understanding of the facts, and that they were not influenced by conspiratorial narratives. He clarified that the vehicles seen in videos from his visit were part of his personal security arrangements, which he routinely uses during official trips. He noted that, if necessary, he could deploy additional personal security vehicles.

Zehri stressed that he neither uses government vehicles nor any formal protocol for such visits. He explained that police vehicles present during the visit were solely for the security of a visiting German delegation. While police support could be requested in urgent situations, he prioritizes his personal security.

He expressed gratitude that President Asif Ali Zardari ensures his protection by providing personal SSU security. Zehri said that the genuine love and trust of the people of Hub, including PPP leaders, workers, and citizens, was a source of pride and a strong counter to those spreading propaganda.

He added that he would continue his constituency visits in the same manner, stating that critics who cannot achieve tangible results are limited to spreading baseless claims. Zehri also thanked the residents of Hub who consistently participate in and support his convoys during such visits.
