Mother Arrested for Using Minor Daughter’s School Bag to Smuggle Drugs; 4kg Recovered on Bus from Balochistan to Karachi

*Hub (Daily Qudrat)* — Karachi police foiled a major drug-smuggling attempt and arrested a woman, identified as Bibi Zakra, for allegedly using her young daughter’s school bag to transport narcotics.
The incident took place within the jurisdiction of Mochko Police Station when officers stopped a passenger coach travelling from Quetta to Karachi for routine checking. During the search, police recovered a total of 4 kilograms of narcotics from the school bag of a 10-year-old girl.
According to police, the suspect deliberately chose a child’s school bag to avoid suspicion at checkpoints, as children’s belongings are usually not checked thoroughly. The narcotics were found carefully concealed beneath schoolbooks inside the bag.
The Mochko police team, deployed for the inspection of inter-provincial vehicles entering the city, detained the woman on the spot and registered a case against her.
