Sanjay Dutt Reveals Painful Experiences from His Five-Year Imprisonment

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has opened up about the traumatic events he faced during his five-year imprisonment, shedding light on the struggles surrounding the 1993 case and the pressure his family endured.

According to Indian media reports, the actor spoke candidly in a recent interview about the hardships, legal battles, and emotional turmoil he experienced.

Sanjay Dutt revealed that following the Babri Masjid incident, his family faced intense pressure and threats. He added that although he was accused of possessing illegal weapons, no concrete evidence was ever presented to support the allegation.

Expressing regret, the actor said, “I still don’t understand why I was sent to jail. After 25 years, the court accepted that I had no link with the bomb blast case.”

He shared that his time in prison was extremely difficult but also transformative. “I studied law books, prayed, and kept myself strong. Instead of fighting hardships, I learned to take them as lessons,” he said.

Sanjay Dutt is currently busy with his upcoming controversial film *Dhoorandhar*, in which he stars alongside Ranveer Singh.
