Tragic Death of 3-Year-Old Ibrahim After Falling into Open Manhole in Karachi
Karachi: Heartbreaking footage has emerged showing the tragic death of three-year-old Ibrahim, who fell into an open manhole near Nipa Chowrangi in Karachi.
The incident occurred around 11 p.m. on Sunday. CCTV footage shows Ibrahim walking with his mother and suddenly falling into the uncovered manhole as he ran down the stairs of a nearby store.
According to sources, the lack of safety barriers or warning signs around the manhole was a major factor contributing to the accident. Immediately after the fall, Ibrahim’s mother rushed to save him, drawing a crowd, while a bystander called for help.
Police and civic authorities are currently investigating the incident. Sources stated that the responsible party will be identified after the inquiry is completed and the footage is thoroughly reviewed.
