Governor’s Rule “Ready and Waiting” if PTI Escalates Tensions, Warns Senator Faisal Vawda

Islamabad:Senator Faisal Vawda has warned that if PTI chooses to intensify its political confrontation, the government is equally prepared to impose Governor’s Rule.

Speaking on Geo News’ program *Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Saath*, Vawda said:
“If PTI decides to escalate matters, then on the other side, the decision for Governor’s Rule has also been made. If you resort to provocation, will the system allow it? Governor’s Rule won’t last just two months — it will stay in place.”

He added that the strategy for imposing Governor’s Rule is already prepared.
“What will PTI gain from it? Governor’s Rule is right in front of us, and the plan for it already exists.”

Regarding political access to Imran Khan in jail, Faisal Vawda stated that no further political meetings would be allowed with the PTI founder.
“The man who claims support from 45 million people cannot even gather 450 outside,” he remarked.

Vawda also criticized Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister for meeting U.S. officials instead of visiting the family of a martyred officer.
“Imran Khan raised the slogan of ‘absolutely not’ against U.S. influence, yet his own chief minister chose foreign meetings over consoling the family of a martyr,” he said.
