Pakistan Cricket Team Adopts Modern T20 Approach, Shows Improvement in Six-Hitting

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — The **Pakistan cricket team** displayed a significant improvement in **T20 cricket** in 2025, adopting a more modern and aggressive style of play.
Statistics reveal that Pakistan hit **235 sixes** in **34 T20 matches**, facing **3,872 balls**, averaging **one six every 16 balls** and about **seven sixes per match**. In comparison, in 2024, the team hit only **152 sixes** in **27 matches**, averaging **one six every 19 balls** and fewer than six sixes per match.
The **aggressive batting approach** under **head coach Mike Hesson** has been a key factor in this transformation. Pakistan secured **21 victories out of 34 T20 matches** this year, highlighting the effectiveness of their updated strategy.
With the **upcoming T20 World Cup**, Pakistan’s evolving white-ball tactics indicate a promising path toward further success on the global stage.
