Major Reshuffle in Balochistan Police — Key Postings in Quetta as 13 Officers Transferred and Appointed

Quetta: In a significant administrative move, the Balochistan Police has announced a major reshuffle involving 13 senior officers, with important changes made to key positions in Quetta. The notification of transfers and postings has been issued under the directives of the Inspector General of Police, Balochistan, and all orders take effect immediately.
According to the notification, **Captain (Retd) Muhammad Baloch** has been transferred from *SSP Operations Quetta* to *SSP Investigation Quetta*, while **Captain (Retd) Asif Khan** has been moved from *SSP Investigation Quetta* to *SSP Operations Quetta*. Both positions are considered critical for maintaining law and order as well as overseeing investigative affairs in the provincial capital.
In other changes, **Zahid Hussain Shah** has been transferred from *SP Duki* to *SP Kalat*, and **Muhammad Anwar Badini** has been appointed as the new *SP Duki*. **Abdul Haleem Achakzai** has been posted as *Senior Instructor* at the *ATF Training School Quetta*, and **Syed Abdul Saboor** has been appointed *SP Pishin*.

Furthermore, **Khurram Mahesar**, formerly *SP Investigation SCIW Quetta*, has been directed to report to *CPO Quetta*, while **Ali Raza** has been appointed as *SP Investigation SCIW Quetta*.
Additional transfers include **Muhammad Maroof Usman**, appointed as *SP Technical CTD Balochistan, Quetta*; **Dr. Israr Ahmed Umrani**, assigned as *AIGP Gender, CPO Quetta*; and **Zubair Ahmed Durrani**, posted as *DSP Crime Branch, Quetta*.
These appointments reflect the Balochistan Police’s efforts to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen investigative performance, and improve coordination across divisions in light of evolving security challenges in the province.
