Security Forces Foil Major Terror Plot in Balochistan, Seize Heavy Weapons and Suicide Vest from Educated Militant

**Quetta:** Security forces in Balochistan have successfully foiled a major terrorist attack by intercepting a suspicious Toyota Exio near the Gwargo Check Post in Panjgur, seizing a large cache of weapons and explosives. The vehicle was driven by Sajid Ahmed, a resident of Turbat and a master’s degree holder from the International Islamic University Islamabad.
Authorities said the suspect was allegedly transporting the weapons from Panjgur to Turbat. The confiscated arsenal included 20 hand grenades, 5 rocket launcher rounds, 2 MI-16 rifles, 1 suicide vest, 30 demolition slabs, and 20 strobe devices.
Officials noted that the timely operation prevented a potentially devastating attack and highlighted concerns over networks of educated individuals involved in terrorism. The suspect has been arrested, and further investigations are underway to dismantle the militant network.
