27th Constitutional Amendment Unconstitutional, Mahmood Achakzai’s Speech on December 2 to Guide Nation Amid Global Crises, Says Ayaz Jogezai

Quetta — **Nawab Muhammad Ayaz Khan Jogezai**, central secretary of the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PMAP), paid tribute to **Khan Shaheed Abdul Samad Khan Achakzai** on the 52nd anniversary of his martyrdom, highlighting his national, political, and democratic contributions.
Jogezai stated that this year’s commemoration comes amid severe national crises, regional instability, public grievances, suspension of constitutional rights, a paralyzed judiciary, and restrictions on media. He emphasized the importance of the upcoming **public gathering on December 2** at Ayub Stadium Football Ground, chaired by **PMAP Chairman Mahmood Khan Achakzai**, as a platform to unite democratic forces, resist international manipulations, protect the country’s natural resources, and guide the nation through ongoing challenges.
He criticized the current government for making constitutional amendments that are **controversial, unconstitutional, and anti-democratic**, calling them a threat to the sovereignty of the parliament, the principle of democratic governance, and the equitable federation of nations within Pakistan. Jogezai reaffirmed that the **Tehreek-e-Tahafuz-e-Aain Pakistan (Movement for the Protection of the Constitution)**, founded by Achakzai, remains the first political alliance striving independently to safeguard the constitution.
He appealed to patriotic citizens, youth, and democracy supporters to **attend the gathering in large numbers** to honor Khan Shaheed’s legacy and continue the struggle for constitutional supremacy, democratic governance, and national sovereignty.
