Balochistan Movement Cannot Be Ended by Operations Alone, Says Nawab Aslam Raisani

Quetta — **Chief of Sarawan and former Chief Minister of Balochistan, Nawab Muhammad Aslam Khan Raisani, has stated that the ongoing movement in Balochistan cannot be resolved through mere military operations**. In an interview with a private TV channel, he emphasized that while the government claims to control terrorism, the ground reality paints a different picture.

Raisani expressed concern not only for the young soldiers sacrificing their lives on duty but also, more importantly, for the families of the **thousands of missing persons**. He urged the government to provide concrete evidence if it claims that the missing individuals are not in its custody.

He stressed that **political activists have engaged in peaceful struggle for national rights**, and therefore, transparency and disclosure of facts regarding the missing persons is a critical necessity at this time.
