Possible Change Expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor’s Office

Islamabad — Speculation is growing over a possible change in the office of the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, currently held by Faisal Karim Kundi.

According to sources, five names are under consideration for the position. The list includes three political figures and two retired military officers.

Among the political personalities being considered are **Ameer Haider Khan Hoti**, **Aftab Sherpao**, and **Pervez Khattak**.

Sources also indicate that retired military officials **Lt Gen (R) Khalid Rabbani** and **Lt Gen (R) Ghiyur Mehmood** are being evaluated for the role. Lt Gen (R) Ghiyur Mehmood previously served as IG FC, while Lt Gen (R) Khalid Rabbani is a former Corps Commander Peshawar.

A final decision is expected soon, as discussions continue at the federal level.
