Indian Army Chief’s ‘Operation Sandoor Trailer’ Claim Reflects Delusional Mindset, Says DG ISPR

Rawalpindi: Pakistan’s military spokesperson, DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, strongly rejected recent remarks by the Indian Army Chief regarding *Operation Sandoor*, calling them a reflection of a “self-deceptive mindset” that dominates India’s leadership.
Commenting on India’s claim that it had “shown a trailer” during the operation, the DG ISPR said such statements ignore harsh realities. *“If their so-called trailer involves seven aircraft downed, 26 targets hit, and S-400 batteries destroyed, then such a trailer would turn into a horror film for them,”* he remarked.
He said India’s repeated false statements after its defeat in Operation Sandoor are aimed only at pacifying domestic anger. He also warned that any country supplying military equipment to the Afghan Taliban regime should know that such weapons inevitably end up in the hands of terrorists.
### **Foreign-Operated Social Media Accounts Targeting Pakistan**
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif noted that malicious narratives against the state and its institutions are being run from social media accounts operated outside Pakistan. *“People sitting abroad attempt to inject poison into Pakistan’s politics and internal matters. These accounts are constantly engaged in spreading anti-Pakistan propaganda, clearly influenced by external hands,”* he said.
### **Counterterrorism Consensus Across Pakistan**
On counterterrorism efforts, the DG ISPR said that all governments and political parties agree that the solution lies in fully implementing the National Action Plan (NAP). He added that a comprehensive system has been developed in Balochistan to put NAP into action, whereas Khyber Pakhtunkhwa still lacks similar implementation.
The DG ISPR reaffirmed that Pakistan remains committed to defeating terrorism and countering hostile narratives at every level.
